Everyone remembers the Glenn Miller version of "I've Got A Gal In Kalamazoo." And rightfully so! The song was a mega-hit for Glenn Miller and His Orchestra and appeared in the movie "Orchestra Wives." But did you know that Benny Goodman recorded a version of the song as well? The vocals on the song are handled by Dick Haymes and was one of a handful of titles sung by Haymes at his only recording session with the Benny Goodman band. Their version was recorded in June of 1942. Enjoy!
