"Slap That Bass" is a new single by The Advocats Big Band and can be found on their album "In Full Swing". Swing City Radio has added the song into it's regular rotation on The Modern Block which airs every weekday at 3:00pm (EST) and 3:00am (EST) for our International Listeners.
The Advocats Big Band are based in Toronto, Canada and have been together since 1991. The band was originally assembled by a group of young lawyers to perform at a Toronto fundraiser. Hence the name The Advocats, which in my opinion, is a fantastic name!
The bands current line-up consists of the following members: Pam Fong, Daniel Koelsch, Dave Coules, Jonathan Bakan, Michael Lewis, Richard Raum, Ron Parker, Brian Kai, J.P. Brown, Jeff Fong, Don Beaupre, Jason Stephens, Rick Blechta, Leon Racine, Tom Melville, John Collin and Nina Richmond.
